*I used fuzzy yarn doubled with regular plush yarn to crochet the mane. However, if you are not comfortable with fuzzy yarn you can crochet the loops with the plush yarn itself. It will be pretty.
  • Yarns that you only need a very small amount :

-Pink plush yarn for the paw pads. I used Bernat Baby Blanket in Baby Pink (Super Bulky #6) : here. If in Europe, you can use Hobbii Toucan Lavender : here
-Thin white cotton thread to sew the muzzle to the face and thin black cotton thread to embroider the mouth : here.
-At one point, I only used a very small amount of hot glue to keep the shape of the smile (here) or craft glue from Elmer’s (here) (the bond is better with hot glue). BUT if you don’t have glue, you can use a very thin black sewing thread with a very thin sewing needle.

  • Darning needles, you can use regular darning needles but I recommend using curved ones (mostly for the muzzle) from this kit : here , it’s easier to sew pieces together.
  • Polyester fiber fill type Poly-fill : here
  • 20 mm sinker safety brown or gold glitter eyes (x2) : I bought hand-painted eyes from @lemonade.crochet on Instagram. You can also buy glitter eyes on Amazon : here.
  • 1 black safety nose, 17 x22 mm : here
  • Lap counter : here
  • Stitch markers : here
  • Long wooden sticks to position some pieces before sewing. I used barbecue sticks from Walmart.
