- Black and pink felt sheets (1mm thickness) for the mouth from Hobby Lobby : here. I also added two small rounds of white felts on the safety eyes pupils to make them wider but you don’t have to do that.
- Polyester fiber fill type Poly-fill : here
- 2 oval kawaii safety eyes 16 x11 mm : here. If you don’t find the eyes, you can make them with black and white felt sheets.
- Red cotton (or acrylic) yarn to sew the dots to the hat and the feet to the body : here.
- White cotton or acrylic yarn, to sew the feet to the body : here. If you would like to save some time and don’t like sewing, you can also hot glue the elements together with a glue gun (here) or craft glue from Elmer’s (here) (the bond is better with hot glue).
- if you decide to sew Darning needles (you can use regular darning needles but I like using curved ones from this kit : here , it’s easier to sew elements to the body).
- Long wooden sticks to position the head before sewing. I used barbecue sticks from Walmart.
