- Yarns that you only need a very small amount :
Dark brown acrylic yarn for the magic wand (optional because made with a toothpick) : Caron One Pound Expresso here. If in Europe, Hobbii Amigo in Chocolate : here.
Color of your choice acrylic yarn for the scarf, I chose Loops & Threads Impeccable Acrylic in Claret here and in Gold here for the red and yellow scarf. For the green and white scarf, I chose Red Heart Super Saver in Hunter Green here and Loops & Threads Impeccable Acrylic in White here. If in Europe, Hobbii Amigo would work well : here
Thin black and white cotton threads, to sew the pieces together : here. If you would like to save some time and don’t plan to give it to a kid, you can also glue some pieces together with a hot glue gun (here) or craft glue from Elmer’s (here) (the bond is better with hot glue).
- If you decide to sew : Darning needles, you can use regular darning needles but I like using curved ones from this kit : here , it’s easier to sew pieces together).
- Optional : 1 toothpick for the wand, which can be dangerous if not wrapped correctly with yarn.
- Polyester fiber fill type Poly-fill : here
- 17 mm safety eyebrows that I used as eyes (x2) : here
- Glasses (Total length is approx. 3.7”/ 9.5cm, and the frame is approx. 1.5”/ 3.8 cm) : here
